Timothy Franzen advises a diverse group of health care providers as well as other businesses and executives in corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. Among other areas of specialization, Tim assists clients with business formation and corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt transactions, employment agreements, and federal and state regulatory compliance issues. Tim works closely with his clients to understand their business objectives, and combines his legal, finance, and business experience to develop creative yet practical financing solutions and corporate structures to help clients achieve their goals.
Prior to joining the Health Law Alliance, Tim was the General Counsel of a publicly traded corporation where he oversaw all of the company’s legal affairs, including financings, acquisitions, SEC filings, executive employment contracts, corporate governance issues, and litigation. He previously practiced at a large international law firm based in New York.
Tim earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review. Tim attended California State Polytechnic University, graduating with a B.A. in Political Science. His personal interests include kayaking, financial planning, and travel.
